This project for Phil (of PhuzzPhest) was a last minute shoot and interview. The band from Richmond had just returned from their tour in Europe, and they were finishing it out with a show at Fair Witness in Winston-Salem. It was a pleasure to sit down and pick their brains, and ultimately tell a bit of their story.

This story was so exciting to bring to life. A lot of preemptive B-Roll enhanced the footage shot on the day of the interview. Eris was a joy to work with, and as always, the Camel City crew knocked it out of the park. Looking forward to more opportunities to tell these stories.

Art Folk | MINI DOCUMENTARY
The first in a series of mini-docs highlighting local artists using folk practices in new and exciting ways. This project was such a labor of love. Spending time with Kelsey and diving deep into a unique art practice, setting up a studio interview, and writing/remixing all the audio was such a great experience.

A rainy Summer wedding
I love shooting weddings. There's something about being able to share in the love of a couple and their big day. Setting up shots, worrying about additional cameras, thinking through drone shots and movement. I felt like a swiss army knife, swapping primes on the fly - wishing I had a dedicated zoom lens (like a 24-70mm). I learned a lot from this shoot and edit - mostly to go easy on myself.

CAMEL GATE COMEDY SHOW
This project for Camel Gate was to showcase the Experimental Comedy Show. I wanted to give viewers a chance to feel what it was like to be in the room - to capture pieces of the madness. When editing this video, keeping bits of the original audio brought the whole thing into a perfect space.
